Ariano has truly been my favorite authentic Italian restaurant for the past years. Their staff does a great job perfecting customers experiences and it has a family vibe to it. They keep the place very clean. After being immediately greeted and accommodated, the service is impeccable. The aesthetic and architecture inside upstairs makes you feel like you're in italy, especially when the doors are open and you get a nice outside breeze! The food is awesome to put the cherry right on top.

Ariana has a special place in my heart. My family celebrates big occasions here and my workplace often goes to lunch with clients here. Their pizza reminds me of the summer I spent in Northern Italy. The waiters are hot and friendly.

I give the food a 3 1/2z
The Caesar salad was very good and fresh.
The soup special was a short rib pozole. It was too spicy and there was a scant to no amount of short rib. It wasn't worth it.
The bread was fresh and house made
My salmon entree was poached so remained tender. The flavor was also good.
The shrimp crab dish was dry. The shrimp were overcooked.
The branzino was also dry.
I will try the pizza next time. It's a cute place but not a WOW.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenni C.Media, PA0134Apr 2, 2024

Quaint, unique, a gem just off State St. Food and gelato are excellent, definitely check the craft cocktails. Everything on the menu is fantastic.

Really great pizza and cocktails!!
I had the pharmacist which was really refreshing and I would highly recommend.
We got a few salads and pizzas and I didn't get the chance to take pics of everything before my family dug in.
Our server told us the pizza oven was imported and you could tell everything was really fresh and authentic! I picked the Melazzo pizza and everyone grabbed a slice right when he set it down so I missed my photo op :) but that tells you how good it looked!! I would definitely recommend that pizza!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - 1354511362Sep 3, 2023
Stopped in for an early dinner last night (Saturday). My friend was raving about them and they were able to accommodate us not having a reservation.
It's such a charming place! I felt like I was on vacation! We sat upstairs in a window and it was the perfect day for that! The breeze coming in was wonderful!
The food was delicious! We each started with a salad. I had the grilled caesar (they have Italian names for their dishes therefore I don't remember them), we split the risotto balls and I had the scallops over risotto. Everything was really good!! We were so stuffed when we left l, it was funny! I will definitely go back! Oh and my espresso martini was great too!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 553171227Jan 29, 2023
Solid Delco Italian restaurant. Small downstairs and a little drafty, but service is attentive and kind.
Just note, they do NOT have pasta, so if you're looking for pasta, you'll need to try one of the other Italian spots down the street.
For the food - highly recommend the arancini (comes with 3). Large, delicious, get them. The meatballs (comes with 2) were ok...nothing special but yummy.
Entrees, we got the Rocco Pomodoro pizza and the Mesoraca pizza. Folks, we're picky about pizza (local to NYC...). This pizza was outstanding. We also got the Otino Cioppino - a seafood smorgasbord over risotto in a tomato broth. SO much seafood. Absolutely delicious.
Dessert - (come on you can leave without dessert) we go the chocolate ice cream, pistachio ice cream, and a limoncello mascarpone cake. All Italian.. and amazing.
Solid place. Nothing "extra" but will definitely be back for a great meal.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 1
