My last visit here was over 6 years ago and at that time I stopped coming here because I wasn't too impressed with the service, and I had a bad experience with my entrée.
Just recently I revisited this restaurant on a whim with my family and I'm happy to say that this time around I was impressed! The carnitas plate was tasty and the seafood enchilada was wonderful.
Vicky was my server and she made my dining experience so much more enjoyable. Her knowledge of the menu really helped me decide what to order thus making it such a positive experience this time around. My picky teenagers also enjoyed their entrées and we will now put this restaurant on rotation if we're ever craving Mexican food. Give it a try if you're ever in the area and ask for Vicky.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Mar 2, 2024
From the front desk to the servers, they provided amazing service that actually elevated the restaurant experience. They were friendly and professional.
However, the interior needs some care. Even though the lights are dimmed, you can see the dusts, spider webs, dirty carpet and wear and tear on the furniture and glass cover of the table. There just wasn't any excitement in the restaurant.
Foods can be improved a little bit as well. Since it was my first time visiting, I ordered several dishes including dessert and overall, they were all dull. Wish there were some oomph to it but I couldn't find it.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - 1662181010Oct 28, 2023Updated review5 check-ins
Thanks El Cholo! I love stopping in when I'm in the area to pick up some delicious fresh chips and homemade salsa. It's so delicious - my favorite Mexican restaurant salsa around!! Great for last minute events and pot lucks. Everyone always raves about how good it is! $8 for a quart and $5 for a medium bag of chips. You can't go wrong,

Their salsa is my favorite, I stop in and order quarts of it for parties and large gatherings, it's always so fresh and full of flavor!
The staff here are so friendly, the dining room is large with bar, patio and indoor dining options. They have weekly specials and taco Tuesday deals.
The food quality isn't the best, but if you're craving good Mexican food, beans rice, chips and salsa this is that place. They have several locations and have been in business for years, they're currently celebrating their 100th birthday!
Give them a try for yourself. - A S.Corona, CA14253Dec 30, 2023Updated review
Very simple menu. Food is delicious. Service is fabulous. Love the peaceful ambience especially during weekdays.

Been here for years and food is amazing. Quiet atmosphere of course unless I take my kids. The servers are so resPectful and prices are fair.
Live in Corona, CA and this is probably the best real Mexican food around. - Tessa S.Victorville, CA23167Feb 15, 2024
Very expensive, food was not great. Service was just ok, ambiance in the restaurant was nice though.

Two of us had lunch. The combo of cheese enchilada, Chile riano, and a green corn tamale. All of them were well prepared. I had the bowl of tortilla soup. A little salty but very good. The service was okay. The receptionist was lovely. She tracked me and delivered me to my table. Nice surroundings. The music stayed in the background.

So we have been coming here for quite sometime now. But everytime we come here the food quality goes downhill little by little. This time it was my dads birthday and my brothers kids wanted to take grandpa to this restaurant!
Their salsa had no taste or it felt it was store bought. In fact the medium salsa had gone bad and we did complain to the manager that it smells kinda funky! Their chips are a little better but still had a bitter taste. Their enchiladas green sauce was way toooooo sweet. I mean there was all sorts of 'wrong' with the food. The saving grace was their flan. It actually tasted decent.
I ordered a Michelada and my drink was not mixed properly with Clamato or whatever they used to make my Michelada with. The bean and cheese burrito that we ordered for my niece had literally no cheese inside, when asked our server why is that! To which he replied, they made the burrito so fast cause they were watching a boxing match between some Mexican Boxers hence they forgot to put cheese inside.
Yea definitely! not coming back here again. In the end we paid $160 with tips, which was definitely not worth it.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Elizabeth K.Norco, CA24825Mar 3, 2023
Uhm. Pretty shook by this place given the reviews and smiling people walking out. The only thing that I would actually go back for was the blends strawberry Margarita.
We ordered the Fiesta Platter for 2 and was wildly disappointed. The quesadillas seem to be "cooked" in the microwave. The crab taquitos were fishy. The nachos were mid, okay cheese and mushy beans. The chimichangas had a really nice sauce but I was not convinced on anything.
Service and staff were nice. Ambiance was pretty and things looked clean.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Blanca D.Yorba Linda, CA010Jan 24, 2024
Good Margaritas but the food is not great. We have been in several times and I always hope the next time is going to be better than the last. This time I ordered mole enchiladas. What they brought me was 2 corn tortilla soft tacos on their side, with mole sauce on top and no cheese! I was so annoyed but I didn't say anything because we were with other people so I just had my drink with some chips/salsa. I feel like this place use to be good back in the day, but the new people are just lazy and don't care. Both the cooks & the servers know what enchiladas should look like and that wasn't it.. Such a bummer!
