Remlik’s Grille & Oyster Bar

Remlik's has and will forever hold a special place in my heart. For a decade now, whenever I am home in Binghamton I have gone to Remlik's with my father to enjoy their beef on weck and martinis (order the salted caramel martini, you won't regret it). My father unexpectedly passed last week and I wanted nothing more than to honor him by family and friends gathering together at Remlik's after his services for great food and drink.

I want to give my sincerest thank you to Kelly, Amber, and the Remlik's team. Thank you for being so kind and supportive to me and accommodating my request to host a large group on such short notice. Remlik's is much more than just a delicious restaurant to me and I am so grateful for all the beautiful memories I have at your establishment.

I've had a couple good dinners here, but Saturday's was weak at best. Wife and I had a drink which were fine.. The dinner was terrible. She got Sea Bass. I asked the server if it was thick and she said yes. What came out was I 1" piece of fish. Sea Bass should be 1 1/2 to 2" thick. It was not a good pc of fish. I ordered filet. I got served an end cut of the filet. Sent it back and got a center cut which was the worst filet I ever had. Ordered it med rare. It was cooked ok but was the mealiest cut I've ever had. Came with potatoes which were fine and then spinach that was just steamed. Nothing on the spinach, just bland spinach... also had a couple desserts to go which were underwhelming as well. Just no impressed for $220...
Atmosphere is ok, but we got seated in the annals of the restaurant.

Great place! It's very dark and romantic, but quite loud on a busy Saturday. Making a reservation was easy online. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were promptly greeted by our server. She took excellent care of us. The food was quite good. They have a large menu of food and drinks to choose from. The only two bits of constructive criticism would be first, find more parking for guests. We had to circle the area a few times before finally licking out and finding a spot. Also, $19 for four small fried oysters is a little steep. They were very tasty though!

Beautiful place and delicious food. I like the restaurant. I tried tuna it was testy.

On a recent trip to Binghamton, we had the absolute good luck to hear about Remlik's Grille. It was simply outstanding. Due to a delay coming from Long Island we drove right here for dinner. It was extremely easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I love how they're in the back of an old converted building. (Brilliant how they repurposed this old building to be stores, offices and even residences.)

We came into this very busy-electric restaurant. Lots of activity and bar traffic. I love how they had their oyster bar right in the open. We were brought to a quiet room on the side. (It was filled but still not that noisy.). Our absolutely lovely waitress immediately came over to welcome us and take a drink order. (It wasn't until later that we learned her son was one of the food runners.)

There were so many things that we saw on the menu. So....

I started with delicious sushi. Fresh and extremely tasty
We shared delicious calamari. Very crisp on the outside and extremely tender on the inside.
The soups were great. French Onion (well done cheese for my wife) and a wonderful chowder.

Our main meals were for me, Fried fish and fries. I haven't had this meal in a long time and really enjoyed the crispy fry and soft flaky inside.
My wife loved her steak and really enjoyed both the potatoes and asparagus sides.

We couldn't leave without the cheese cake which was OUTSTANDING!

Everything about Remilk's Grille was perfect. Venue, Service, Food and company around us. Everyone was enjoying themselves. It was easy! We're definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Held a business group dinner and everyone enjoyed the environment. The wine and food was excellent accompanied by our waitress Rachel who did an excellent job!

Good food good atmosphere. Great cocktails too. Service was also good.

Small neck clams are awesome -- not too heavy and a really good light brother. You'll be dipping your bread in it!

Shrimp tempura roll was solid. Highly recommended.

Chicken saltimbocca was good, not great. A little light on the prosciutto and a little heavy on the sauce.

All that said, I'm splitting hairs. Just go.

I have been here twice. Each time was a pleasant experience. It is a nice venue with good food. The pricing is on the higher side but still reasonable.
