Clean venue, nice ambience, decent food, the service was ok I don't like that fact that 2 people in our party were delayed and paid for food and they didn't accommodate them even though they hadn't threw away the food. Paid parking was tacky being that we paid $75 per person for venue!!

Advised by Yelp when I contacted them just now about the managers denial of my visit yesterday and their menu optins. Id like to refresh the review at his request. 60+ of us were there yesterday. We booked a private function room. We paid $76 per person. Just for this bland overcooked buffet. If he would like photos and my receipts for the multiple glasses of champagne that I was charged for im happy to provide that. The pasta was referring to something people thought might be a mushroom stroganoff dish. Most definitely pasta was in there. I'll leave the review untouched ask yelps advice.
Not at all confused by the location. Is there a small ice rink downstairs? If so that's where I was. Having moved to Atlanta in 1997 I know where Piedmont Park is.
Completely unimpressed and overpriced. I'm still in shock at how much we spent. The food was for a large party. We had to inspect what we thought was risotto, bad risotto. The chicken was so dry many left it. The salmon was very dry with no sauce or the ability to pour any juice etc.
The pasta was absolutely so overcooked it was disgraceful. $75 a person. No water on the tables, no one pouring or offering water or drinks.
I gave the star to the bartender. She was awesome.
The rest was a big fail. Not a single member of our party will return. I feel like I've been robbed.
Of course not a single manager or full-time staff member is available to ask questions or explain this robbery and bad quality.
Disgusted doesn't begin to express my feelingsHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 2Business owner information

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It appears there might be a mix-up with the location. Our Park Tavern, nestled in the scenic Piedmont Park, Midtown Atlanta, GA, is known for its diverse menu and vibrant atmosphere but doesn't feature pasta dishes as part of our offerings. Additionally, our pricing is designed to be accessible, with the most premium items on our menu priced at only $17.
We believe your experience might relate to a different Park Tavern, and we kindly suggest that you review your post to ensure it reflects the correct location. If you could remove or update your review to reflect the accurate establishment, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance in maintaining the accuracy of our reviews. Wishing you all the best. - 354433519Sep 5, 2023
One of our favorite spots in Midtown. The location is excellent as it is in Piedmont Park so you get a wonderful view of the meadow and is also across the street from the Beltline. The burgers are really good and they offer Impossible burger patties. The salmon rice bowl was good too.
The ambiance is lively and fun, a great spot to hang out, watch sports and listen to live music on Sundays.
The staff is nice. It is a very casual place so expect an outdoor/relaxed bar type of service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 23, 2023
After all my years in Atlanta I finally had the chance to experience Park Tavern.
After a day in the park, I told my friends I wanted wings. They advised that the wings at Park Tavern were good and we should go. Of course I am always game for trying new places, thus we walk across the grass and into the Tavern.
Immediately upon walking in I am in awe of the amount of space, this establishment does not look this big from the outside. However, it is hugeeeeeeeeeee!!! As the weather was beautiful and the atmosphere on the covered patio was vibrant, we decided to sit in that area.
Park Tavern has a almost "Self-Serve" kind of setup and I love it. You go to the bar to place your order. Upon placing your order they take your cell number as they may text you when your food is ready to be picked up. Once you receive the text which states "This is Park Tavern! Your food is ready!" you head to the second bar and pick up your order, grab your utensils and condiments and head back to your seat.
This flow works so well and is to the benefit of myself as a customer as well as the establishment as a whole. With the staff shortages that are plaguing the Atlanta area, this model is aligned to work to the benefit of all! (In my personal opinion!)
I decided to get the 10 piece wings "Hot" with a side of Tater Tots.
Once my food was ready, I immediately went to pick it up. I emphasize the word "immediately" as though there was no delay in my time from advisory of food readiness to pick up, my tater tot's were already cool. I won't say cold, however, they were cooler than room temperature but two steps above cold. However, for a non fresh hot tater tot they were still good. I can only imagine how good they would be had they been fresh out the grease.
My wings were amazing. Super meaty, well done, and well seasoned. The "Hot" isn't super hot but has a perfect spicy kick to it that enhances the flavor profile of the wing and seasonings. The wings weren't too greasy and truly are worth a trip back for another order. LoL!!
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Park Tavern. The bar staff was friendly and all smiles, and the ambiance of the Tavern was very chill and laid back. Perfect spot for a good meal with friends or a laid back date.Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Oct 17, 2023
Park tavern is my favorite spot in Atl for sports! We love going here on the weekend to watch our favorite teams. It gets very busy for College football. The food though is SO good! Most people come here just for the drinks, but I am obsessed with a few dishes on their menu. My favorite is the bang bang shrimp. You would never think this came from PT!! It is insane.
Also on the weekends before 2pm I think- you can get a bottle of champagne for $10! Great to share with a groupHelpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 9282682573Mar 10, 2023
Came here on Valentine's Day!
***LOCATION***
In the tavern in Piedmont park. They have an ice skating rink, that is pretty small but really cute!
There's paid parking out front in the lot.
***ATMOSPHERE***
I've been here before and it wasn't super crowded last time and this time it was pretty empty which was great for us so we could have plenty of room to skate. The vibe is cool and there is even a bar you can skate up to for drinks!
***PRICE***
It's alright, I think it was around 15$. It's not too much but the rink was very small, had it been crowded it would've been much less fun. You also have to pay for parking in the lot out front. I think we paid a few dollars!
***CONCLUSION***
Definitely a cool indoor rink, just try to come when it isn't crowded so you can have plenty of space :)Helpful 6Thanks 2Love this 8Oh no 0 - 23748Aug 23, 2023
Food Was very good, pretty much a self service type of restaurant. Order in one location then find your own table in the dining section, wait for text, that tells you food is ready for pick up in the server area of the dining hall . I didn't like this type of self service set up the staff is very nice. Very cute place, not wheelchair accessible

Thank you for taking the time to comment. The Park Tavern is wheelchair accessible. Next to the stairs, we have a ramp that zig-zags to safely wheel strollers or wheelchairs to the entrance of Park Tavern.
We look forward to seeing this holiday season for ice skating or our Miracle on 10th Street pop up bar. - Jun 30, 2023Updated review

You must manually order food at a station, wait for a text, then retrieve it yourself so that part sucks a bit but always a good time. View of city at sunset is wonderful. Great crowd. Relaxed attire.

I've visited Park Tavern for a few occasions. Once for a surprise birthday dinner my wife had for me, a graduation dinner, and more recently an event by my organization.
The Service: The service here is always amazing. Everyone is super helpful.
The Atmosphere: I've always been outdoors and it's a vibe. It's so cool being so close to Piedmont Park. You can literally look right over.
The Food: The food is good. Forgive me that I can't remember what I ordered, but I'm sure it was a burger of some sort. At this recent event, the food they provided was good, especially their wings and butterfly shrimp.
The Parking: It's a long gravel lot, that is typically toll operated. Sometimes, there's an attendant and parking is $5. Either way, the lot has security so you can feel safe parking there.
Overall, I'd say check em out.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 24, 2022
We had a great time at Park Tavern located right next to Piedmont Park! This is a great spot to grab a drink or a meal after a long day at the park. Park Tavern also offers bunch specials such half off bloody mary's and discounted champagne bottles. There are plenty of TVs if you are looking for a place to watch a sports game with friends.
Park Tavern also has a stunning venue space that can be booked for a wedding that overlooks the park. Add this place to your Atlanta list!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
